The Delen Memory Table has a built in camera that floats over your head.
Set it for a specific time interval, and it’ll automatically capture a time-lapse of whatever you’re working on!

Letter I Wrote to Steve – September 5th, 2011
Steve,
You don’t know me – and I apologize if you have received a million emails that are just as grandiose as this one – but my name is Robert Andersen, and I was a visual designer at Apple for two years. Apple built me up as a designer and taught me more than I could have ever asked for. Today, I’m here to just say a few words of appreciation.
As you begin to step away from your routine in Cupertino, some may question Apple’s ability to produce meaningful and amazing products. I know this to not be the case, as I think your role has done something even greater – you have built a company that will inspire a generation of entrepreneurs, designers and engineers for years to come to create simple, functional, beautiful and joyful products. This goes for both the people within Apple’s walls and out.
Your hard work, and the spirit of Apple, is an inspiration to us all.
Thank you.

“The Rock-afire Explosion” Movie Trailer
Continuing today’s theme of 80’s childhood tech nostalgia, my brother Robert introduced me to this amazing documentary about the people behind the early 80’s chain Showbiz Pizza (an Orlando, FL-based company called Creative Engineering), the animatronic Rock-afire Explosion show they developed, and the surprising (some might say disturbing) subculture of cultish adult fans who keep the Explosion alive today on YouTube. As I said in my post about Commodore, it’s really fascinating to me how much of a “Wild West” environment the tech industry was in the early 80s, and how much crazy, entrepreneurial hardware engineering was going on in places far removed from Silicon Valley.

Yeah, so, I just bought this documentary because I can’t help myself.
Whoa, a place named Denton Square Donuts sells Square-logo shaped donuts and uses Square Card Case to accept payments. I need to sit down for a second.

This song is my newest musical obsession.
