Great interview with Michael Showalter. I very much share his taste in comedy as explained on the 3rd page.
I like silly things. I think that “silly-stupid” or “stupid-smart” might be my philosophy, which is to combine a veneer of intelligence with an undercurrent of crass stupidity.
I’m a huge Stella fan, so the fact that Shawn linked to this might explain why I love the Maniacal Rage Podcast so much.

I’ve come up with a New Years Resolution! I haven’t been drinking Coke for the last month and it feels so much better. I actually haven’t been able to bring myself to drink it, even when it would be nice/convenient. I just imagine it dissolving my teeth and giving me headaches. I’ve often thought about doing this, but I don’t know if I could bring myself to do it. Coke is my favorite beverage, so getting rid of it would be tough — I drink 1-2 bottles/cans a day.

Hahaha, this is amusing.

You can now store 75x more text messages on the iPhone. This is fantastic news!
It’s nice that this aspiring, young designer lists me as an inspiration!
One of my favorite burgers comes from Oola in San Francisco, and the chef just opened a new “upscale burger lounge.” Awesome.
